Affordable Housing

We believe that sustainability and energy efficiency should be available to everyone. 

To that end, Green Spark Homes has partnered with Housing People, an organization that provides access to affordable construction lending in rural communities. Housing People connects low-income working families and individuals to the USDA 502 Direct Loan Program. This provides loans for the construction of new homes that may be zero-down with subsidized interest rates as low as 1%.

This makes it possible for low-income households to protect the planet, their loved ones, and their pocketbook while living in a beautiful new home!

Homes built through the 502 Direct program must adhere to USDA program guidelines, so not all house plans qualify.
